Sandra Murphy – Script / Score Writer

Sandra Murphy is from Galway and is currently an undergraduate student at NUIG. She was assistant director of the GCA and director of the Galway Girls Choir from 2006 to 2008. She has been involved in choral singing from a very young age, and currently sings soprano with the Tribal Chamber Choir, the Galway Baroque Singers and Sunus.

As well as enjoying her varied and diary-packed choral work, she delights in her solo performances. Her solo works include Mozart Coronation Mass, Vespers Solomnes, Regina Coeli in C, Schubert Mass in G, Vivaldi Gloria, Britten Ceremony of Carols, Pergolesi Stabat Mater, Fauré Requiem and many more.

For 10 years she studied classical piano under Audrey Corbett, in which time she was honoured with several awards for high achievement in her field. Sandra also plays flute and has enjoyed organ lessons with Mark Keane.

She has also featured as a soloist on the Galway Choral Association’s CDs Mary's Lullaby and Lumen, and the forthcoming Lux Hibernae.
